Manheim Township is located within Pennsylvania House of Representatives District 97 represented by Republican Steven Mentzer〔http://lancasteronline.com/article/local/798591_Lancaster-County-s-newest-state-legislators-begin-new-year-at-swearing-in-ceremony.html〕 and Pennsylvania Senate District 13 also represented by a Republican, Lloyd Smucker.
